Board.Dev provides the technology governance certification for the nonprofit sector. Our program is built and delivered by leading experts in the field, and is designed to ensure you can facilitate technical governance, even in the most complex scenarios, with confidence.
You'll join a cohort of fellow tech leaders serving on nonprofit boards for a series of interactive online sessions on different aspects of technology governance.
In a set of learning labs, you work with the CEO of your nonprofit to complete a comprehensive technology governance assessment of the organization.
You and the CEO share the assessment and recommendations with your board, creating a shared understanding of the organization's tech-related risks and opportunities. As you move forward, your tech leader community supports you in driving impact.

The goal of the Tech Gov Leader Lab program is to give you hands-on opportunities to support your organization. Over the course of the program, you will work with the CEO of your nonprofit and their team to complete an assessment of the organization's technology and practices. At the end of the program, and to receive your certification, you will present your findings and recommendations to your board. We will provide you with the materials you need to conduct your assessment, hands-on tools such as presentation deck templates, and a learning community to support your journey.
At the completion of the program, the members of your learning cohort will have the opportunity to join our broader community of certified leaders. The community supports each other so they can bring the right resources and information to their role on their board. They also gain access to our library of standards, tools, and best practices.
This program is design for technology leaders (10+ years experience) who are currently or about to start serving on a nonprofit board.
